I was specifically told that the mutton intestine curry and idly would be awesome here. but unfortunately , it was not available on the day I went . So I had to go for mutton head curry and chicken fry . The dishes along with idly and parotta weres ok. Tasted normal just like any other place.-------------------------------------------

The Tamil Naatukoli Koli Virunthu restaurant which lives up to its name is situated on the Karur to Coimbatore highway between Pongalur and Avinashipalayam. Although the menu and tables are limited, the taste of the dishes surpasses all expectations.
Their menu offers a variety of dishes including country chicken biryani, mutton fry, mutton intestine, country chicken chinthamani, country chicken fry, country chicken kulambu, fish kulambu rice, and rasam.
The Naatukoli biryani is particularly noteworthy, as it is rare to find such high-quality biryani in a village-style eatery like this. The biryani was delicious and very desirable to eat.
All of the dishes had an incredible flavor. The Naatukoli chinthamani and Kudal were particularly outstanding. The Naatukoli chinthamani had the perfect blend of whole red chilies, which complemented the rice. The mutton intestine had a unique flavor and went well with the rice.
The mutton fry and chicken fry were also tasty, but the masalas used in both dishes tasted the same due to the same spices used. A slight variation in the masala mix could have brought out a different flavor.
The Naatukoli kulambu was served in a clay pot and had a watery consistency, which made it a perfect accompaniment to the rice. The fish kulambu and patchapuli rasam were equally excellent.
Finally, to end this satisfying meal, you can choose between ice cream or cold milk payasam, both of which were delicious.
If you are going in a group, it is advisable to call the owner beforehand and inform them.
Overall, the food at this restaurant is an excellent representation of Kongu Naatu Samayal.

The chicken kulambu is a must-try. The thin consistency pairs perfectly with the parotta, making it one of the best parotta and chicken kulambu combinations you'll ever taste.
Overall, the non-veg dishes are superb, although the country chicken meat can be a bit hard. On the other hand, the parotta is soft, crispy on the outside, and generously sized, making it the perfect accompaniment to any curry.

The Arab-style dining hall with low tables and chairs is perfect for a unique dining experience. There's also a party room with disco lights, a waiter calling bells, and cell phone charging points at each table.
While there are many dishes to choose from, we highly recommend the chicken Mandi biryani, chicken Hyderabad biryani, Ustadi kebab, chicken shawarma, KFC fried chicken, fried momos, and mojitos. The chicken Mandi biryani is a standout dish with its flavorful long-grain basmati rice and juicy chicken coated in the perfect masala. The Hyderabadi biryani is also excellent, although we would have preferred more biryani masala in the rice.
The Ustadi kebab served on a skewer, is a must-try dish. The chicken is juicy, and the roasted burned flavor on the outside is mouth-watering. The KFC fried chicken is another favorite, with its freshly cut meat and accurate KFC taste.
The chicken shawarma is a unique take on the classic dish, with the chicken from the kebab stick minced and rolled into shawarma. The charcoal-burned chicken taste adds a new dimension to the dish. The fried momos and mojitos are also excellent choices.

The owner of Insuvai Unavagam has made it possible to serve a delicious non-veg meal at an affordable price. The food is cooked at home and brought to the service place one by one in a two-wheeler. Once all the dishes are set up, they start issuing tokens. A person can get as many tokens as they want, and each token costs just 50 INR.The meal comprises of rice and other non-veg items like broiler chicken, chicken liver, mutton head curry, mutton blood poriyal, and chicken manchurian, all served on a plate. The broiler chicken fry is of a larger quantity, while the other items are of a smaller quantity. Each dish is cooked to perfection, and the taste is fantastic. The dishes complement the rice perfectly, and there's also chicken kulambu that you can serve yourself, which also tasted great.
The crowd at Insuvai Unavagam is always bustling, and it's not hard to see why. The food is delicious, and the price is unbeatable. The staffs are kind and work fast to serve all the people. It's best to be there at 11:30 am so that you don't miss out on the food.
