This is the first time I tried soup noodles form an original Chinese restaurant. They have a lot of sause options according to our liking. You can add more spiciness if you want to.
A great experience and I am looking forward to try more food like this one...

This Mess is situated in Madurai, ponmeni area. It was a little difficult to find the place with the help of google maps when you are near the destination, so watch out for the signboards. You have a lot of options to choose from. I tried the murattu single combo with 21 items. All the dishes tasted good.They have chicken, mutton, dry fish, crab, quail. It was a good dining experience. I did not have the chance to try their chicken/mutton Kari soru, which they said is the south Indian version of the Chinese fried rice. A friend suggested this place to me. He said the Biryani is good and they have many branches. So I thought to give it a try. At first, when I went to one of their branches, it was so crowded at the parcel counter. People were waiting to get parcels. There was chicken biryani, mutton biryani, pepper chicken, chicken palipalayam, and deep-fried dishes like chicken leg piece, lollipop, quail, etc., The biryani here is good for the price. Affordable biryani and the quantity was more too.The cost of chicken biryani is 70/ rs. They serve Biryani for lunch, as well as dinner. So if you are a biryani fan and you want good biryani at economical rates then this is the place for you.

This mess is situated on the outskirts of Karur, on the Karur to Salem highway. The place has a Dhaba style layout. The specialty in the afternoon here is the clay pot chicken biryani, aasari varuval, and chicken uppu Kari. There are mutton items too but I personally feel that the chicken dishes are way better. so if you are here for the afternoon don't miss the chicken biryani. It has got a lovely taste. For dinner, there are many options like naan, tandoori roti, etc. This is an excellent place for families.

This mess is situated in the Bazar area, with many gold showrooms nearby. The rates are very low because they have their own meat shop. Most of their dishes are in the double-digit range and the taste is good too. I would definitely recommend this place for you if you are in that area or want to have a cheap & good non-veg meal.
The mutton dishes like the Brain fry or the mutton chops or mutton intestine all were in the 75/- rs range which I felt are the best rates .

From Namakkal towards Salem, at bommaikuttaimedu, you have to turn left into a small lane. Click on the above link and follow it. easier that way.
A small eatery running for 3 generations now. They serve only breakfast which starts at 7 and closes at 9.30am. If you want tasty non-veg food, then you have to come here on a Wednesday, Thursday or a Sunday. All the other days they serve veg food only. There are not many items on the menu, Only mutton intestine and mutton curry. But the hot and soft idlis with that mutton curry is awesome. so if you are an idly and mutton gravy fan then this is the right place for you.

This place is not very easy to find. Situated in the north wing of the Madurai Meenakshi Amman temple, this 55-year-old mess serves excellent non-veg meals at a small place. They display all the items from which you can choose from. After you choose them they fry it for you. Though it is a little pricey, the taste is excellent. Be it the gravies or the crab omelet or the famous fish dishes. All of the dishes were good.
A definite place to go for lunch in the temple city.

This mess is situated at manathattai, kulithalai. It's on the Karur to Trichy road. kulithalai falls center to Karur and Trichy. To reach this mess you have to deviate from the highway and go on the road that goes into the kulithalai town. A couple of kilometers after the deviation from the highway, at a place called manathattai , opposite to the bus depot is this mess. The meal was simple yet tasty. I had meals with mutton and an omelet which cost 230/- rs INR

This hotel is situated in Namakkal, you don't have to go into the town. so if you are on the highway and its lunch time then don't miss this place. The Eatery is small with minimum seating capacity, they serve only lunch. lunch per person is 350/- inr
I was amazed by the taste of each dish. wondered how did I miss this place being so close by. They serve mutton and chicken dishes like mutton chukka, mutton uppu Kari, country chicken, mutton intestine, mutton blood fry, ginger mutton, half egg. Though all these items are limited, you won't ask a second serving. You are full by the time you eat all the items. The rice is unlimited with mutton bone kulambu and country chicken rasam. The mutton bone kulumbu was also tasty. I missed ingi puli, do not know what dish that is but will go back definitely for it.
The owner Kannan sees to that you leaf isn't empty, he also suggests you how to eat each dish.

Vaigai Mess in Madurai is famous for its non-veg dishes. The mutton dishes are the high light here so are the fish dishes. The mutton Nalli chops that I had was so tender, and it tasted so juicy. one of the best dishes. The mutton chops, as well as the ayria fish kulambu, were good.

The owner only cooks the food. she's been cooking since they started this place in 2006. Its a lovely home cooked meal that you definitely got to try when you visit Madurai

Food Street Fiesta is a food street with many food outlets that serve awesome food. Food street fiesta opens at evening 6. A lot of north Indian and south Indian cuisines can be tasted here. From mouth smacking barbeque to varieties of dessert this is a one-stop shop for everything.. On the downward side, i felt the space wasn't enough for parking and also non-availability of international cuisine.
