The second-generation owner Mr. Rajamanicham and his wife cook and serve their customers.

Their menu is very simple with only idly for the main course for breakfast. This is accompanied by non-veg dishes like the chicken, mutton, and mutton intestine. The idly has a specialty to it.... usually all the idlis are made with rice and orid dhal mix... but here they prepare idly with rice and fenugreek, which has more health benefits than the former.

                                   

For lunch also the menu is simple with rice with mutton thanni kulambu..... This place is very small and has been in a similar setup right from the beginning. You can neither expect a fancy ambiance nor food varieties here. This place has a lot of regular customers who come from outstations. A simple and quickly digestive breakfast that’s so light to your tummy.

Though the items like the chicken biryani, mutton chukka, chicken fry, chicken 65, fish fry, crab lollipop, chicken omelet, and a few more are limited you get unlimited rice and parotta and all this for 330 rs is a good deal I think.

Glad that I did not miss it because this meal was totally worth it. Food coloring is avoided at this place and instead of food coloring, they use beetroot juice for the marination purpose which is a good thing. The owner points out that because a lot of children come to dine here, beetroot juice is used avoiding the food coloring.

Grill nights is a franchise that has been started in Karur by two youngsters. Situated in the lighthouse round corner area next to the LVB ATM, Grill Night serves dishes like the Paani Puri shawarma, different varieties of shawarma, barbecue chicken dishes, Chinese dishes ., etc The Paani Puri shawarma is the shawarma meat that is stuffed into the Puri and filled with Mayonnaise .... a different dish that is a must-try.

The plate shawarma that I tried also was fabulous.., the chicken meat was finely minced to a paste and it tasted awesome, this too is a definite to-try dish. The Bbq chicken wings had a mild spiciness to it and were very juicy.., dipping the chicken wings in Mayonnaise and tasting it was heaven.

The Mocktails like the Blue crush and Blue Curacao was super good

The noodles too which was Mexican noodles were good.., they had a different taste, which I liked. The only downside was the biryani which did not convince me and I don’t recommend it. Grill Nights is a place of shawarmas and barbecues and I strongly recommend you to try them and find out for yourself.

Situated on the Coimbatore road ( plz refer to maps location link at the top) this restaurant is a perfect getaway for families and children who want to spend a memorable evening. Now enough of the gardens and ambiance let’s check out the food... there are a lot of unique dishes here that you could try for instance for started there this panipuri started where instead of the pani you get chicken soup, the puri is stuffed with minced chicken, onion and coriander... just pour the chicken soup like you do in a panipuri and have it... a different yet fabulous dish. The tender coconut chicken is also a unique dish where the tender coconut water and its soft flesh are used in the chicken and cooked and served in the same tender coconut

The same is the case with pineapple chicken. The fruit of the pineapple is cut and used in cooking. The cooked chicken is plated on the pineapple and served.

                                        

The orange chicken is also something similar. 

                                       

Although the base of these chicken is the same, the different approach makes it interesting. These dishes are sweet as well as spicy which gives a different taste. The butter naan is one of the best that I have tasted... the naan was so soft and fluffy and went along so well with the minced chicken curry... usually, when the naan goes cold they turn rubbery but here the naan remained soft and tasted great.... one of the dishes that you definitely got to try....

On the whole a great dinner which I will be visiting for more....

The non-veg sambol is served first along with rice and two veg sides. Each thokku is served one after the other starting from the country chicken thokku then mutton thokku, chicken thokku, kadai thokku, prawn thokku then there is Mutton kulambu and fish kulambu which is rasam consistency.

                                            

The taste of the thokku was Chettinad style with less spicy ness a hard punch of tanginess and a pinch of sweetnesses.

                                             

                                             

The mutton sukka and pepper chicken also did not have much spiciness I found the mutton pieces a little hard than usual. Altogether Karaikudi in Karur.

Although they had chicken I preference would be the intestine curry.

For breakfast, they have chicken, mutton intestine, idly, parotta, and dosa varieties. For lunch, there are meals and fish curry.
