The ambiance is great and the food is lovely. The perfect time u can spend with your friends and family. You will have to reserve your table in advance. Make sure to be there on time. To begin with, a charcoal tray is placed on your table where you get to heat up all the barbeque meat like chicken, fish, prawns, and few fruits like pineapple and watermelon veggies like corn, mushrooms, and paneer. You are provided with sauces like mustard, mango, and mayonnaise, mint chutney. A couple of seasonings and oil sprays...









You are served with cheesy potato, which is fried baby potato with Mayonnaise and they tasted amazing. The fried baby corn, the veg cutlet, and the mutton seekh kabab were so delicious .. The main course options too were limitless.. there were soups, chicken biryani, butter chicken, Sri Lankan fish curry, a lot of veg dishes, noodles, etc. You can take your time and try all the dishes with patience because the main course isn’t over yet. There is Chennai style biryani in another counter with a live kitchen where you can choose your meat from a range of meat like duck, rabbit, shark, octopus & squid, prawns, etc... you can combine this meat with veggies that are sautéed in a pan.











No wait it isn’t over yet.... did you forget about the desserts.... well you wouldn’t if you were here at the absolute barbecue.. There were so many desserts options and just the desserts are enough to fill your stomach. Live ice cream counters are there where you can mix your own ice cream with your choice of toppings. There is also another live counter where condensed milk is mixed with strawberry or chocolate sauce spread on a freezing ice stove and rolled to instant ice cream. This isn’t the place for you if you are on diet or you are a tiny eater. The lunch buffet is charged at 769 INR on Wednesday’s to Friday’s for adults and 349 INR for kids

The evenings are always busy with three to four parotta masters making parottas Mk Balu hotel too like the other eateries of Namakkal has the thick gravy that goes so well with the parottas. Be it the chicken gravy or leg piece gravy or the pigeon gravy all are thick and just wow. They just don’t go with parottas but with dosas and chapattis too...

                              
Non-veg items that are available here are chicken fry, chicken leg piece, pigeon, rabbit, duck, mutton intestine, quail. Usually, all these items are kept in those thick gravies. When there is an order , according to the customers liking it’s either served like that or fried with onions and curry leaves and served. Customers usually prefer the fried version because they are tastier as well as served hot. Breakfast starts at 8 am and they have all the non-veg items up & ready by then. For breakfast, there are most of the non-veg items mentioned above available. For lunch, there is parotta along with biryani And for dinner all tiffin varieties.
                               

Though I did not get to taste other non-veg items, my favorite always being the pigeon curry. I was left with no option but to eat chicken fry and leg piece fry. So I had them along with nice soft parottas and the thick gravies. They were so delicious and I understood the reason behind the crowd of customers waiting to dine in or for takeaways......
