KRB Namma Veetu Virunthu in Salem is a mess run by a family. The lady of the house runs this place and does all the cooking having 2 maids to help. For 300 rs they serve you rice, mutton varuval, mutton head curry fry, mutton intestine fry, mutton blood fry, pepper chicken fry, deep fried chicken leg, deep fried fish piece, an egg also mutton curry, chicken curry, rasam, and buttermilk…

                                       

                                       

The dishes tasted extremely good.., you could feel the homemade taste in each of these dishes. The only drawback I felt was the mutton head curry had a little mutton smell to it. Though it tasted good the smell was a little annoying. But other than that I enjoyed each and every bite of my meal… You don’t need gravy .., the gravy in these nonveg dishes is more than enough to mix it in the rice and eat… the hot rice mixed with these nonveg dishes was heaven… The best was the pepper chicken fry and blood poriyal … A MUST-TRY PLACE IN SALEM……
