Owner Mobile - 90470 87778 Experience the tantalizing flavors of authentic Kongu Naatu cuisine nestled amidst the serene surroundings of a coconut farm at Perunthurai's 'Thoppu Virunthu' – a culinary gem waiting to be discovered.
Conveniently located near Kongu Engineering College, this hidden gem promises a culinary journey like no other. Indulge in signature dishes such as the Naatukoli Sinthamani and Naatukoli Pallipalayam, along with mouthwatering fish fry available at all times. For those seeking a more exclusive dining experience, tantalizing options like the Naatukoli Kaatu Varuval and succulent mutton dishes await, crafted to perfection upon pre-order, starting from a minimum quantity of 1 kg.

Our visit for lunch was nothing short of delightful. Having pre-ordered the Naatukoli Kaatu Varuval, we were greeted by a charming ambiance complemented by refreshing breezes, setting the stage for a memorable dining experience. Our meal comprised a non-vegetarian feast featuring chicken, mutton, and fish kulambu accompanied by fragrant rasam and soothing buttermilk. Additionally, we savored the Naatukoli Sinthamani and Tawa Fish Fry, featuring a full para fish, adding layers of flavor to our culinary adventure. The Naatukoli Kaatu Varuval stole the show with its spicy kick, enhanced by subtle hints of groundnut oil and the rich aroma of red dry chilies. Equally impressive was the Naatukoli Sinthamani, boasting robust flavors of red dry chili and sesame oil, surpassing even the kaatu varuval in taste. The Tawa Fish Fry fell slightly short of expectations, lacking in bold masala flavors and crispiness.
The accompanying kulambu That came with rice could have benefited from a touch more refinement. To conclude our feast, the Illaneer Payaasam offered a delightful finale with its mild sweetness, although there was room for improvement. In sum, 'Thoppu Virunthu' delivered a sumptuous lunch experience, satisfying our cravings with its bold and spicy flavors, leaving us thoroughly content. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
