Spanning vast acres atop a mountainous terrain, Horton Plains captivated me with its awe-inspiring vistas and delightful climate.

Reaching this enchanting destination can be accomplished by either taking the road from Haputale town or disembarking at Ohiya railway station and proceeding on foot or by road from there.

The adventure commences with the World's End trail, originating from Horton Plains. Upon acquiring the entrance ticket, a scenic 10-kilometer trek unfolds, leading to the breathtaking World's End. Along this path lie cascading waterfalls and serene ponds, which have undoubtedly piqued my interest for a future visit!
