Sri Lankan Roti And Coconut Sambol - ரொட்டி & தேங்காய் சம்பல்
The coconut roti and the coconut sambol or the pol sambol is cooked at most of the households almost every day. its a simple dish and can be cooked in minutes.
For the roti, the maida flour is mixed with grated coconut and made into a dough, which is made into balls, flattened and heated in a pan.
For the sambol, red chili, salt, grated coconut, small onion, are put in mixe and ground a bit, cooking is not needed.
The roti and sambol are a good combination and excellent taste.
Roti is also good with chicken or mutton curry.
